Grown-up corner: this practices picking a shape out of a busy background (OTs call it figure-ground) — the same skill as finding a word on a crowded page. Each letter mode hides the target among its classic mix-up letters (b among d/p/q, u among n/m/v, and so on). Encourage a left-to-right, top-to-bottom search, just like reading.
